英國《每日電訊報》18日刊登了對英國財政大臣蕾切爾·里夫斯的專訪，里夫斯在專訪中表示，英國應(yīng)與中國建立更深層次的伙伴關(guān)系，而非設(shè)置新的障礙，“中國是世界第二大經(jīng)濟體，我認為不與其接觸是非常愚蠢的。這是本屆政府的態(tài)度?！?/p>

Rachel Reeves has said it would be "very foolish" for Britain to disengage from China, in a rejection of Donald Trump's efforts to isolate Beijing. In an interview with The Telegraph, the chancellor makes the case for a deeper partnership with China rather than erecting new barriers.

里夫斯還表示，她支持中國快時尚企業(yè)希音在倫敦證券交易所上市，同時在專訪中提到了中國電動汽車，她表示，“很多倫敦電動出租車在英國生產(chǎn)，所有者是中國公司。我認為倫敦擁有這些電動出租車是一件好事。它們也很受出租車司機歡迎。”

The chancellor says: "I think we've probably all been in a taxi in London and they are produced by a Chinese company there. They're produced in Britain, but the owner is a Chinese company. I think that those London electric taxis are a good thing. They're very popular with taxi drivers as well."

里夫斯表示，她今年早些時候赴華參加中英經(jīng)濟財金對話，以提升英國金融服務(wù)企業(yè)在華運營能力。“這些安排顯然符合英國國家利益，我將用這種態(tài)度與世界任何國家開展貿(mào)易談判或金融對話?！彼f。

"Those sorts of arrangements are clearly in the UK national interest and that's how I will approach trade talks or financial dialogues with any country in the world."

《每日電訊報》寫道，這些言論進一步表明，工黨政府下定決心要深化與中國的貿(mào)易與金融聯(lián)系，而這正是英國首相斯塔默數(shù)月來推動的議程。

里夫斯定于下周赴美參加二十國集團財長會議等一系列會議，并將與美國財政部長斯科特·貝森特會面討論英美貿(mào)易協(xié)議。
