日常相處中， 家人常常帶給我們不一樣的驚喜。 有的讓人哭笑不得， 有的則讓人感動不已。

對于表情包，爸媽似乎有一套自己的理解，在他們眼里，“我”似乎就是表情包本包。和爸媽聊天，因為表情包鬧出一些烏龍的同時，也會意外收獲玩梗的 “抽象爸媽”，讓人哭笑不得，別有一番趣味。
Parents have their own meme logic: They literally see the sender as the meme. This sparks misunderstanding yet also reveals unexpected humor from parents.
爸媽可能不懂“抽象”， 但是他們也在努力 用年輕人的方式回應我們。 不得不說， 擁有這樣“潮流”的爸媽， 也是一種穩(wěn)穩(wěn)的幸福。
你陷入過“表情包代溝”嗎？
由于表情包使用與我們使用社交媒體的頻率、受網(wǎng)絡文化的影響程度息息相關，年輕一輩與父輩生活在很不一樣的話語體系中，造成了“表情包代溝”現(xiàn)象的出現(xiàn)。
The "emoji generation gap" has become a common social phenomenon, with the use of emojis closely related to how frequently someone uses social media and to what degree Internet culture influences them. These factors have resulted in completely different discourse systems between different generations.
表情包理解的年齡差異
年輕人和中老年人用表情包在一起聊天時，在表情包的理解上常常出乎意料。對于這一現(xiàn)象，心理學家提出了兩個可能的解釋。
首先，年齡的增長會導致認知功能一定程度的下降，這就造成中老年人在理解和接受日新月異的表情包上是比較慢的。
此外，年輕人喜歡接觸和使用新鮮事物，而中老年人傾向依賴現(xiàn)有的知識和經(jīng)驗。
其次，中老年人對于網(wǎng)絡上的新事物本身就較為陌生，對此的自我效能感也普遍較低，這可能會讓中老年人難以自信地將新表情包納入他們的交流系統(tǒng)中。
Psychologists attribute this to cognitive shifts — while youth tend to explore novelties, older adults rely more on experience — as well as to lower self-efficacy resulting from unfamiliarity with online trends and the vague meanings of memes.
最重要的是，表情包無法取代面對面交流時眼神的流露和細微表情的變化。表情包應作為一種調(diào)料，為我們的文字增添“味道”，而不是取代文字。
The most important thing is that memes cannot replace the expression of eyes and subtle changes in face-to-face communication. Emoticons should be used as a seasoning to add "flavor" to our words and not to replace the emotions in the words.
