廣西“三月三”是壯族及多民族共慶的傳統(tǒng)節(jié)日，源于古代祭祀活動與“上巳節(jié)”習(xí)俗，后融入壯族對歌擇偶、祭祖祈福的元素。傳說中，為紀(jì)念歌仙劉三姐或壯族英雄達桂，人們以歌圩對唱、共食特色美食的方式傳承文化，現(xiàn)已成為廣西各民族交往交融的文化符號，被列入國家級非遺，象征著團結(jié)與文化的生生不息。
The "March 3rd" festival in Guangxi is a traditional celebration shared by the Zhuang ethnic group and various other ethnic groups. It originated from ancient sacrificial activities and the customs of the "Shangsi Festival", later incorporating elements of Zhuang culture, such as song competitions for choosing a partner and ancestral worship for blessings. Legend has it that the festival was established to honor the singing fairy Liu Sanjie or the Zhuang hero Da Gui. People continue to pass down their culture through song duels at the "Gewei" and by sharing traditional foods. Today, it has become a symbol of cultural exchange and integration among various ethnic groups in Guangxi. Recognized as a national intangible cultural heritage, it represents unity and the enduring vitality of culture.

During the festival, people enjoy traditional foods like:
五色糯米飯：用植物染出黑、紅、黃、白、紫五色，象征五谷豐登；
Five-color glutinous rice: Colored with plant dyes in black, red, yellow, white, and purple, symbolizing a bountiful harvest;
艾葉糍粑：艾草混合糯米，清香軟糯，寓意驅(qū)邪祈福；
Mugwort rice cakes: Soft and fragrant, made with mugwort and glutinous rice, symbolizing warding off evil and good fortune;
竹筒飯：竹香滲入米飯，搭配臘肉或蜜餞，風(fēng)味獨特；
Bamboo tube rice: Rice infused with bamboo aroma, paired with cured meats or preserved fruits, offering a unique flavor;
蕉葉糍：蕉葉包裹糯米蒸制，口感Q彈，甜咸皆宜。
Banana leaf rice cakes: Steamed rice wrapped in banana leaves, chewy and versatile in both sweet and savory flavors.
男女老少身著盛裝，匯聚歌圩對山歌、拋繡球、搶花炮、跳竹竿舞，青年男女以歌傳情，延續(xù)千年浪漫。此外，打銅鼓、舞龍獅等民俗輪番上演，將節(jié)日氛圍推向高潮。
People, dressed in traditional attire, gather to sing mountain songs, play the embroidery ball game, launch firecrackers, and dance the bamboo pole dance. Young men and women express their feelings through songs, continuing a thousand-year-old romantic tradition. In addition, performances of copper drum playing and dragon and lion dances add to the festive atmosphere, reaching a climax during the celebrations.
