今年的獲獎?wù)甙ㄍ踯奥┦?,她是一位國際生態(tài)藝術(shù)家和藝術(shù)教育家,她因探索藝術(shù)、自然和文化記憶之間關(guān)系的跨學(xué)科作品而獲得認(rèn)可。王馨曼是今年唯一一位獲得該獎項(xiàng)的中國藝術(shù)家。
此次王馨曼的參展代表性作品《生命與共存-治愈從愛開始》,《生命與共存系列-雪豹:穿越時空與科學(xué)的凝視》,該創(chuàng)作于2025年初,凝視-深刻警惕和內(nèi)省的時刻。這種與觀眾的直接互動形成反思人類與自然世界之間的脆弱共存。背景上刻有量子力學(xué)公式,與東巴文的并存,東巴文是一種古老的象形文字,仍在中國的云南地區(qū)流傳和使用。科學(xué)符號和精神象征主義之間的這種相互作用構(gòu)建了經(jīng)驗(yàn)與神秘,現(xiàn)代性和古代性,人類的智力和自然的持久智慧之間的視覺對話。作品中的對比元素(量子力學(xué)公示,古老的文本,以及原始的,無污染的雪地勢力的存在-對人類的現(xiàn)象越來越多地跨越人類的關(guān)系??茖W(xué)技術(shù)方面的進(jìn)步是否促進(jìn)了與自然世界的更和諧共存,還是加劇了像雪豹這樣的瀕危物種所面臨的威脅?通過嵌入這些視覺和概念緊張局勢,王馨曼博士的工作超越了代表性。這成為一個緊迫的行動呼吁,迫使觀眾參與野生動植物保護(hù)問題和全球危機(jī)的不斷升級 氣候變化。通過生命與共存系列作品,王博士合并藝術(shù),人類學(xué)和環(huán)境宣傳,敦促觀眾不僅欣賞這種難以捉摸的物種的美麗,而且還考慮了它們在塑造地球生態(tài)未來的作用。王博士不僅是生態(tài)藝術(shù)家,同時也擔(dān)任UNESCO-IMAJ國際項(xiàng)目“自然與藝術(shù)-保護(hù)生物多樣性全球藝術(shù)大賽”的執(zhí)行總監(jiān),并領(lǐng)導(dǎo)了多項(xiàng)國際藝術(shù)活動,旨在通過創(chuàng)造性表達(dá)提高人們對環(huán)境問題和保護(hù)生物多樣性的思考。

Masters inNew York"InternationalArt Award
On April 4, 2025, at 3:00PM, the “InternationalPrize – TheNew GreatMastersinNew York”,
organizedby theE?etto ArteFoundation, was held at the historic Churchofthe Ascensionat
127Kent StreetinBrooklyn,New York. The eventbrought togethermore than 60 artists, critics,and collectors from over 20 countries to celebrate excellenceandinnovationincontemporary visualart.
Among this year's honorees wasDr. Sophia Xinman Wang, aninternationallyrecognized eco-artist and art educator, celebrated for herinterdisciplinary workexploringtheconnections
between art,nature, and culturalmemory.Dr. Wang was the onlyChinese artisttoreceivethisprestigious award.
Her featured work, titled “Life and Coexistence Series -Healingbeginnings withlove”,and
"Life and Coexistence Series – SnowLeopard: A Gaze Through Time, Space,andScience",
was createdin early 2025. The snowleopard’s gaze capturesamomentofdeep vigilanceandintrospection,inviting direct engagement and compelling viewers to re?ecton thefragile
balancebetween humanity and the natural world.Behind theimage, quantumphysicsformulasareinscribed alongsideDongba script— an ancientpictograph writing system stillusedinDr. Wang’shome region of Yunnan,China.

This thoughtfulinterplaybetween scienti?c notation and spiritual symbolism createsalayeredvisual dialogue—betweenmodernity and antiquity,intellect andinstinct, empiricalinquiry andcultural heritage.Elements such as ?eeting scienti?c symbols, timelessindigenous texts,and pristine snow-cappedlandscapes converge topose a central question:Do scienti?cadvancespromote harmony with nature, or do theydeepen thethreatsfacedbyendangeredspecieslikethe snowleopard?
By embedding these visual and conceptual tensions,Dr. Wang’s work transcends

conservation and climate change. Through her *SnowLeopard* series,sheblendsart,
