US President Donald Trump said on social media Friday that he would grant ByteDance an additional 75-day extension to either sell the popular video-sharing app TikTok to a non-Chinese company or risk being banned in the United States.

特朗普表示，其政府一直在努力推動(dòng)一項(xiàng)協(xié)議以“挽救TikTok”，并“已經(jīng)取得重大進(jìn)展”，但達(dá)成協(xié)議還需要“更多的工作”。

"My Administration has been working very hard on a Deal to SAVE TIKTOK, and we have made tremendous progress," Trump said in a post on Truth Social.

2024年4月，時(shí)任美國(guó)總統(tǒng)拜登簽署一項(xiàng)國(guó)會(huì)兩院通過(guò)的“不賣就禁用”法案，要求TikTok母公司字節(jié)跳動(dòng)在270天內(nèi)將TikTok出售給非中國(guó)企業(yè)，否則這款應(yīng)用程序?qū)⒃?025年1月19日后在美國(guó)被禁用。

In April 2024, then US President Joe Biden signed a law that gave ByteDance 270 days to sell TikTok, citing unfounded national security concerns. If the company failed to comply, the law would require app store operators such as Apple and Google to remove TikTok from their platforms starting on Jan 19, 2025.

今年1月20日，特朗普在上任首日簽署行政令，給予TikTok“不賣就禁用”法律75天寬限期。這一寬限期原定于4月5日到期。

Trump, who took office on Jan 20, previously signed an executive order to delay the TikTok ban by 75 days "to permit my Administration an opportunity to determine the appropriate course of action with respect to TikTok". That extension was set to expire on April 5.
