去年5月，隨著大士（Tuas）生物醫(yī)藥園內(nèi)第一根樁基的打入，藥明康德新加坡基地正式加入這座"藥明康德全球網(wǎng)絡(luò)的重要組成部分，與亞洲、歐洲和北美的各個(gè)基地緊密協(xié)同，進(jìn)一步加強(qiáng)公司一體化CRDMO賦能平臺(tái)的靈活性和規(guī)模，更高效極致地服務(wù)全球客戶。
在2025年地球日前夕，藥明康德新加坡基地的伙伴們攜手當(dāng)?shù)刂铝τ谒h(huán)境生態(tài)保護(hù)公益機(jī)構(gòu)Waterways Watch Society，在碧水環(huán)繞的裕廊湖畔花園（Jurong Lakeside Garden）開(kāi)啟了一場(chǎng)凈化城市水域及周邊環(huán)境的特別行動(dòng)。
經(jīng)過(guò)2小時(shí)的細(xì)致工作，團(tuán)隊(duì)成員們沿著公共步道展開(kāi)系統(tǒng)性清理，共收集25公斤垃圾，包括塑料制品、紙質(zhì)廢棄物及其他不可降解材料，讓這片美麗的城市綠洲更加整潔宜人。
藥明康德新加坡基地負(fù)責(zé)人羅文雄在活動(dòng)中說(shuō)道，“可持續(xù)發(fā)展理念不僅根植于在公司的日常運(yùn)營(yíng)工作，更深深融入我們的創(chuàng)新賦能以及社區(qū)共建的每個(gè)環(huán)節(jié)。

Safeguarding Clean Waters: WuXi AppTec Singapore Team Takes Action
Singapore, a modern metropolis known as the “Garden City” for its seamless blend of nature and innovation, thrives on clean waterways and cutting-edge green technology. Flowing from Kallang to Marina Bay, its rivers act like capillaries—nourishing the city, sustaining biodiversity, and invigorating the local biotech ecosystem.Since designating life sciences as its “fourth economic pillar” in 2000, Singapore has flourished into Asia’s biomedical hub, now home to over 500 global biopharmaceutical companies.
In May 2024, the groundbreaking ceremony at the Tuas Biomedical Park marked a significant milestone as WuXi AppTec Singapore site officially became part of its global innovative landscape. Spanning 50 acres, this new facility will serve as a vital link within our global network—seamlessly integrating with existing sites in Asia, Europe, and North America. It will enhance the flexibility and scale of WuXi AppTec’s integrated CRDMO platform, enabling us to deliver more efficient and responsive services to customers worldwide.
In anticipation of Earth Day 2025, WuXi AppTec Singapore team partnered with the Waterways Watch Society (WWS)—a local NGO committed to protecting waterways—to launch a cleanup campaign at Jurong Lakeside Garden, a thoughtfully designed 90-hectare green oasis that brings families and communities together.
Over the course of two hours, WuXi AppTec volunteers collected approximately 25 kilograms of waste—including plastic, paper, and other non-biodegradable materials.
“Shaping a culture rooted in sustainability—one that extends beyond our operations to the way we innovate, engage with our community,” said Mr. Loh Boon Yiong, Head of WuXi AppTec Singapore. “One thing remains constant: sustainability is not just part of what we do—it's in our DNA. Together, we are building a healthier and more sustainable world.”
